Brown Basmati Rice??

How exactly is this used? I followed the directions and realized the rice is harder than regular brown rice.

Help!

I use brown jasmine and brown basmati regularly. I think you just have to cook it a little longer and slower. Not sure if that helps - I don't really use a recipe I just cook it until it gets tender enough to eat. It is yummy! I love the aroma.....

I do it in a rice cooker (usually) but just cook it like brown rice, I think. Rinse it first, use one part rice to two parts water. I can't remember but I think I cook it about 50 minutes or until the water is all gone.

It's the only kind of rice my family LOVES

Thanks for the info guys.....I think I did let it cook for probably a good 40 minutes or so. Didn't know about the rinsing, but I did read somewhere while I was researching it to soak it the night before. I may try that next time and then mixing it with our regular brown rice.
