from my friend Will. I will have some to share soon I am sure. I got all started, brewed the tea...cooled it down and I have NO sugar in the house. Oh healthy me. So I guess I have to do it tomorrow. DANG!
You guys can keep that ALL away from me!!!! :barf: I like kefir from the store, and that's about as far as it goes for me, even though all my friends are swapping grains like crazy, and keep offering me some; and my IL's used to grow kombucha, and it didn't do squat for me! Of course, that MIGHT have been because I was trying to beat off strep and didn't know it..ya think?? Either way, I have NO desire to go back to drinking that vinegar drink again!
I found this web site to be very helpful in understanding and brewing your own. http://http://www.kombuchatea.co.uk/index.asp
I am at my 3rd batch and it is going good. I am not drinking it 3xs a day yet and it has helped with a few things already. Mine is white and thick like a patty.

:)
We used to brew kombucha all the time until we moved and our dear baby was ruined. If someone has one to share I would gladly pay shipping. We found it really helpful for us and really miss having it.
