100% liquid center chocolate covered cherries recipe? Please? LOL!

I am looking for a recipe to make chocolate covered cherries (cherry cordials), but I want the centers to be 100% liquid (like the Cella's brand); none of the white creamy filling I see in some other brands of store bought choc-coveerd cherries.
Does anyone have a tried and true recipe? TIA!!!

drive by posting.....

all of the cherry cordials are made with the creamy filling. When they sit it liquifies.

Not my favorite candy. But you didn't ask that.

even grosser!!! no I don't know the make up of them off hand (was not one of the things I chose to remember) but preservatives will prevent them from liquefying as quickly. And they can liquify in 3-5 days.... so don't think you are getting something from WW2 LOL

ohhh am I the only one who prefers the thick centers?? They are one of my favorite candies. The cheaper, the better! Never found a gourmet or expensive one I like better than the $.99 ones.

I can't imagine what that liquid center is???

What do you think of this recipe?

Recipes : Chocolate Covered Cherries : Food Network

Chocolate Covered Cherries Recipe courtesy
Show: Semi-Homemade Cooking with Sandra Lee
Episode: Romance

40 maraschino cherries with stems (packed in very heavy syrup), drained well
1 cup (6 ounces) semisweet chocolate morsels
1 cup (6 ounces) white chocolate morsels

Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper or waxed paper. Pat cherries dry with paper towels.
Melt chocolates separately in stainless steel bowl set over pan of simmering water, stirring until smooth.

Holding stem of cherry, dip cherry into melted chocolate to coat. You can coat half of cherry in white chocolate and half in semisweet chocolate, if desired. Transfer chocolate-dipped cherry to prepared cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining cherries and melted chocolate.

Refrigerate for about 40 minutes, or until set.

INGREDIENTS:
1 pound confectioners' sugar
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 bar paraffin
1 package (16 oz) semisweet chocolate chips, about 2 cups
1/2 cup butter
2 jars maraschino cherries
bourbon, optional
PREPARATION:
Drain cherries then soak in bourbon overnight or all day, if desired. Mix together the corn syrup, vanilla, confectioners' sugar, and butter until smooth. Chill.
Drain cherries. Wrap chilled fondant mixture around each. (Roll fondant piece into ball, flatten, then place cherry in center and wrap around and smooth out.) Put on buttered baking sheet and chill thoroughly.

Melt paraffin with the chocolate chips; dip fondant covered cherries in chocolate. Or, use dipping chocolate instead of chocolate chips and paraffin. Put dipped candies on buttered pan. Chill thoroughly. Keep candy in refrigerator until ready to serve.

Aha! I think this might be the winner!

Chocolate Covered Cherries - Allrecipes

Chocolate Covered Cherries
SUBMITTED BY: Kathy Nowell

"Note: If you store these they will make the juice around the cherry, like the store bought ones."

Original recipe yield: 50 servings

INGREDIENTS
8 tablespoons melted butter
6 tablespoons corn syrup
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
3 pounds confectioners' sugar
3 (10 ounce) jars maraschino cherries, drained
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 tablespoon shortening

DIRECTIONS
In a large mixing bowl, combine butter, corn syrup, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla, and sugar. Knead dough, and form it into balls with a cherry wrapped in the middle. The balls should be approximately the size of walnuts. Place balls in the freezer to chill.

In a double boiler, melt chocolate chips and shortening together. Dip the cooled balls in the chocolate, let cool on parchment paper.
