Anyone made elderberry jelly or jam?

I decided to make some...the first of the elderberries are ready and there are *way* more than I thought, and bound to be still more, even with my chickens eating the lower ones and the jays eating their share, too!

I wondered if anyone had a tried-and-true recipe. I'm looking around at some online and trying to see which looks best.

It's great to pop on here and see everyone is baking and canning and enjoying the fruits of the harvest! I never look at this board - wow, I didn't know it was so active!

We dug up our first carrots today. Absolutely delicious!

I am not in a place where they grow, but I think that it would be awesome for you and I to exchange jams later this year.
