Mmmmm....food blogs are the best blogs! You have some great pics too. I was reading a little article in one of my cooking magazines (Food and Wine maybe?) with tips for photographing food. I never realized it was such an art!

Thanks, Val! I'm trying to focus on all types of food, but desert is just so easy to make and present! LOL, gotta love it!
Maryalene, oh, I'd love to read that article because I really know nothing about photographing food. I'm just learning as I go, lol. I'm finding that if the picture isn't too great, I can just crop it to a close up of just the food. Its very effective. Food is beautiful and sensual all on its own! I don't have pretty plates and all that, so I'm just focusing on the food itself.
Although I must admit getting a LOT of help from Laurie through this process. I don't know another mama so sweet that she would start a whole new blog to help me figure out how mine works. lol... Thank you again Laurie!

Well between me and Laurie we know how to use the darned thing now. LOL! We have been throwing ideas back and forth for weeks now. If you have questions, esp if you do switch, let me know.
Okay, I was so inspired by your pics I switched to Blogger. I miss doing my own HTML anyway. I'm going to work on the template and add links (I'll add your blogs as well) but for now, I'm here. http://thefoodiefamily.blogspot.com/

Sweet! Looks great! (I just love that they allow the pics to be so big like that) I hope Laurie doesn't mind that we have taken over this thread ( ), but I wanted to let you know two things I already learned about the blogger site that I see on yours.
First off... your links that sit at the bottom of the page generally mean you have a link that is too long in your posts. For some reason the blogger can't handle that and pushes everything in the sidebar to the bottom. I just figured this out yesterday... lol...
Second... if you want the little border around your pictures like mine and Laurie's (this was something that Laurie figured out) you add:
.post img {
padding:4px;
border:1px solid #ddd;
}
Under where it says in the Template where it deals with your images. If there isn't a "Post" section than you just add it under Misc.
Then you can mess with the color (the #ddd part) or the size (the border:1px part) of the border, and there is that.
