Need some new meal ideas....

We are so sick of food right now, that we hardly ever eat a real meal b/c everything just seems so blaahhh and everyday, kwim? We are somewhat picky so here is what we will NOT eat:

Tomatoes(big clumps gross me out, Michael is allergic to plain maters, but can eat stuff like pizza sauce, spaghetti sauce, ketchup)

Onions(again with the big clumps. We can handle lil bitty diced up)

Mushrooms(I LOVE breaded mushrooms, but will not eat plain, Michael hates them)

Not into "sauces", Michael doesn't like casseroles(I love tuna casserole)

We are not into spicy spicy food, so no hot peppers or anything like that.

We do eat meat, so are open to about any type recipe with meat in it.

So, that leaves us pretty much on the dead end of the supposed "good" foods LOL We are just sick of meat(either steak, pork chops, chicken), taters, corn, stuffing, green beans, pizza, spaghetti, tacos. We also eat breakfast on occasion(biscuit, gravy, eggs, bacon & sausage, sometimes pancakes). What else is there to eat that our taste buds will like??? HELP... Oh and I'm on a $100/every two week budget for food....

Would they eat fajittas? Just marinate some chicken in Italian dressing overnight. Sautee it with some onion and green bell pepper (or not) and serve with brown rice , shredded cheese etc in tortillas

tuna melts with chips, fresh fruit

Chicken fried rice. Dice chicken and marinate in some soy sauce overnight. Then I sautee it up with some peas, carrots, leftover brown rice. I scramble two eggs in a separate pan and then add those in

chicken parmesan. Bread chicken breasts and bake in the oven. Then top with spaghetti sauce, shredded cheese . serve with spaghetti/sauce on the side and a big salad.

shephards pie. Ground beef = cook and drain. Put in a pan, cover with some soup of some sort, then a layer of mashed taters, layer of corn or peas, top with cheese

Chili with cornbread

taco bar or potato bar
I bake potatos or put out hard taco shells. Then set out a bowl of ground beef with taco style seasonings, shredded cheese, sour cream, salsa, rice, corn, lettuce or cabbage - let them build their own

nachos - ground beef, nacho chips, cheese, guac, sour cream

crockpot Italian beef stew. Beef stew meat or ground beef cooked and drained, add a jar of spaghetti sauce, diced potatos, carrots, onion, garlic, whatever you have int he house

homemade chicken noodle soup
Boil a pot of water with some chicken pieces. Add some chicken bouillion, fresh garlic, carrots, onion, celery and let cook on low for an hour or two til the chicken is coming off the bone. Remove chicken pieces, take the meat off the bones and throw the chicken back in. Cook for another hour or so adding more water as needed. Throw in some pasta or rice 20 minutes before ready to serve. We have it with english muffins, bagels or some sort of bread

Chicken casserole. (since he won't eat tuna?)
Dice chicken and sautee in some olive oil or butter. Make pasta and drain. Add chicken to pasta. Add a can of soup (we like broccoli cheese), some shredded cheese and a veggie of your choice. Stir and then bake for 30 minutes - add more cheese at the end to melt on top

Just some ideas.
