Looking For frugal recipies

Anyone have any links you'd like to share? I love to try new stuff. We've got a quarter of a beef coming so beef recipies would be Greatly appreciated as well as chicken and pork. I love hillbilly housewife. I made the sweet and sour pork today and it is to DIE for! Thanks!

I'm looking for recipes too!!!

Here's one of our family favorites for roast beef. They will barely touch it as a roast but like this, it get's devoured.

Cook your roast - I like to start from frozen with 1 1/2 cups water and some beef bouillion powder, cook at 300ºF in the oven for 3 to 4 hours. It turns out really tender.

With fresh french bread(I make my own, if you want a recipe let me know), slice open the loaf, butter both sides, add sliced roast beef and cheese of your choice. Wrap in foil, and back at 350 for 20 minutes. (If you planned it right and the bread is fresh from the oven, skip this step).

With the dripping make a thin gravy(slightly thickened) this if for dipping.

We call it french dip, but whatever..lol. It's good. I serve gravy ina small bowl, and every one chows down. I make salad with it, and put out fresh veggies.
