Want to try selling on Ebay - help!

Hey Mama's,

I want to try selling some of my nicer clothes on Ebay, so I thought I'd take a look here for some info. I also looked on the Ebay forums, thinking maybe I'd find a tutorial or something to help a person get started with selling, but I didn't find anything.

I have no experience with any code of any kind, but I do know how to edit my pics and get them to look good.

Can someone point me in the right direction to get started. I just want to try a couple of small auctions and then work my way up to more.

TIA!

So you already have an account at Ebay then?

If so, one really easy way to start selling is to go to on a ebay listing type place like Auctiva.com and open an account there, then pick a template and fill in the neccessary info on what you are selling and upload pics of the items. It's pretty straightforward. With Ebay you only get one or is two pictures for an auction you have up before you have to start paying extra, with Aucitva you can put up a ton of pics, that's why I started doing it there, since 2 pics don't cut it when you are selling a huge lot of baby clothes : ). There are other websites that you can make Ebay listings on too but Auctiva is the only one I am familar with, and it's free.

Perhaps others know of other sites they like?

Thanks so much for your answer. I do have an account at Ebay and am a buyer on once in a while. I'll go check out that site. Thanks!
