I don't have any books, but if you want to describe a scenario--lots of them, even--I would be glad to tell you what works for us. I wouldn't claim at all that it's the authoritative only way to go, but maybe something would give you some help. (you can PM me, too.)

R: Have you spoken to your DYS family consultant about this? Behavior issues are one of the things they are supposed to be able to help with, at least in terms of lining up resources for you. AFAIK, they also offer financial aid for any counseling/therapy/whatever you or he might need.
