Question WAHMS who host with wahmshoppes ~ Talk to me please?

I need to make a decision about hosting for my site. I've read a lot of negative statements regarding Tony's customer service but also know of several wahms who have never experienced a problem. I really like Tony's shopping cart and this is really the main reason why I'm leaning to wahmshoppes. There are plenty of reputable, inexpensive hosting sites but I'm finding that I don't care for alot of their shopping carts.

If you host with wahmshoppes or have in the past would you please share your experience with me? If you prefer... you can pm or email me steague4@hotmail.com

If you know of a hosting site that has a similar shopping cart please let me know. I do not like oscommerce.

Thank you.

I have one site w/ wahmshoppes. It is great ...as long as you don't have a problem. If your site is down, or your email won't work, or you need any help you may be in trouble. Tony is the lone ranger there...he has a huge group of WAHM's to tend to PLUS a full time job outside of wahmshoppes...which means that you may have to wait on an issue that requires his attention. If you have a general question, there are a few WAHM web designers and veteran users who will try to help...but sometimes they can't only Tony can.He is a nice guy (IMO) but he is not availble enough.

I am now using www.waterswenshops for my other sites. The cost is almost the same, the cart is as easy- but more versitle, and the customer service is impecable. Michelle is very helpful (even when it has nothing to do w/ the hosting/cart). She is patient, professional, and she's a WAHM. The two bonuses for me are the flexibility of the cart and the fact that it is more search engine friendly than WAHMshoppes.

I've had the same experience with tony- everything is great, as long as you don't need anything! If you want an upgrade, a fix, anything, sometimes it doesnt happen ever. I am now trying to close my store, and he can't even get the site taken down for me. And he's been snarky about it a little.

But, the site and store itself has been fabulous, easy to use, very organized.

I've had my wahmshoppe for 3 months now and I haven't had a problem. Although I *did* just open for business a few weeks ago. I don't think that helps, does it!

Thanks guys. Knowing my luck I'll be one of those with constant problems that can't be fixed without Tony's help. Yeah.. it seems that if you have no problems then wahmshoppes is wonderful. But if you need him, it takes days, if not weeks, for him to respond to your request for help and then he has the nerve to cop an attitude with you. I do know of a few wahms though that have actually had very good experiences with him

I have looked at waterswebshops and I do like it but still prefer Tony's shopping cart system. I like that his cart allows me to attach more than one photo of an item. I could only find 3 featured shops on Michelle's site to view. I wish I could see some other shops that are using waterswebshop and their shopping cart.

There really is a lot of customization you can do with optioncart, with the exception of the multiple photos, which I know you want. i just think it's a very good product.

I've been with wahmshoppes for a year and a half, at least. In that time, I've needed help from Tony on several occasions. Sometimes I've had to wait a little, or email more than once. But he has always solved my problems for me, including calling me on the phone one time to help me get something figured out. I thought he was very pleasant to speak with. I do wish he were more readily available, but if you are persistent you will undoubtedly get the help you need.

Wahmshoppes is a HUGE improvement over the hosting I had for my instock shop before (it was through Wahmall...can't remember exactly what it was called (wahmall estores?). I would NEVER get answers to my persistent pleas for help. Incredibly frustrating. I'm so much happier with wahmshoppes.

You can show up to 3 images per item in my Shop Kit Plus package.

In your admin area, select "Catalog Setup". Then for "Item Images", change the value to 2 or 3 and save. Now, when you add or edit an item, you'll see one or two more areas to upload item images.

My Shop Kit package will not allow this. However, you can combine photos into one larger photo, or add photos into the HTML code of the description. You could do this for either the Shop Kit or Shop Kit Plus packages.

You are welcome to try this out on my demo sites: http://www.waterswebshops.com/index..../documentation

Yes, what I am offering is a rebranded optioncart (I am an official reseller). I install the cart for you on a full-featured hosting account (not just a sub-domain of a larger account).

You can read more about what my hosting acounts offer here: http://www.waterswebhosting.net/inde...osting/compare

Scroll down past the chart to see the list of various features. (The chart does not show the same package configuration that I have for my Shop Kit packages.)
