What is the cheapest/easiest way to get set up to take credit cards?

I'd like to set something up to do chair massage at a couple of local shopping malls during the holidays this year. If I do this, I'll have to take credit cards. What is the easiest way to do this, especially in this scenario? I'd probably have one of those booths that sit out in the middle of the mall. It has to be set up for multiple users, since I will have people working for me. Thanks in advance for advice!

Depending on how you want to do it, I'd suggest talking to your bank - they most likely offer merchant accounts and that might work well for you, depending on your credit and other things.

As far as processing them online or by phone I usually suggest www.propay.com or www.2checkout.com I'm not sure how that would work though IRL... unless you could get set up with internet access, but that still might be a lot of hassle...

I've heard CDG Commerce is good for regular merchant accts but I've never used them personally.

HTH and for you.

I went to the fair yesterday and purchased a product from a vendor who had a wireless credit card transaction machine. It looked like this: http://www.usamerchantsolutions.com/...n&key=N-L8000M

I don't know about you, but that costs waaaay more than I'd be willing to spend.

Another option is a manual imprinter: http://www.usamerchantsolutions.com/...earch=ac tion

Both of these solutions require a merchant account, which you can get through your bank.
