Well, I don't with my family. My step-sister uses disposables and formula feeds and has a full time job. Is she any less of a mother than me? HECK NO! Am I a better mother because I did extended breast feeding, cloth diapers and am a SAHM? HECK NO!.

If I were to talk to her about it, I would not talk about the negatives. I would talk about the positives! It does saves money, is all natural, saves the planet, etc. I would not go into a lecture about the risks that gel-diapers *might* have.

We just had a screaming thread about this issue, and I don't think anyone came away with a good feel from it. Again, I think it's a very good thing to stay positive and not judgmental.

I personally feel that people are very respectful about families who do it for religious or health reasons. Not all circumcisions are done to babies.

Well, anything can be bad. I remember a news story about a woman who died because she ate too many carrots. Her doctor said she should eat some carrots to help her eyes or she'd need glasses. She *died* from carrots.

Do you tell people about the health risks that are present in the products you do sell?

Jess, hon, you've just had a death in the family. Please take a break and let your heart grieve. This thread is not going to help you. I'll go out on a limb and say that no one here blames you 100% for this whole thing. At worse I think some people are upset at you for not double checking the story before you posted it here.

I do think that if Karen ever shows up here she'll be tarred, feathered, and run out of town on a rail. What she did is pretty close to unforgivable.

Glad to see the story finally showed up there. That was the first place I looked when the story first came out.

Jess, I hope things have calmed down for you. You are such a sweet mama. I know you didn't mean for this to become as it did.
