Hello, My name is Kristin Garcia and I am a health worker for the Marion County Health Department, the largest health department in Indiana. I work for a program called Care Coordination, a prenatal and postpartum program for pregnant women. We go into their homes to teach them about breastfeeding, baby care, labor & delivery, etc. We are having a day of appreciation, the 3rd annual Girls Day Out on Fri. Aug. 13th for the women who participate in our program. We currently help about 150 women. Most of the women we see are at or below the poverty level.
We are asking for a donation of an item to help us in our day for door prizes. We would really appreciate any help received, to show the girls we are proud that they care enough about their baby to be in our program.
Also, Please feel free to send along any ads you have for your company, (i.e. flyers, business cards, pens, etc.), we make up grab bags for the moms. This has proved to be good advertisement in the past. Thank you so much for your time.
