Where is everyone?

I really want to transition DD from writing in all cap block letters to vimala and I would like to have DS writing this way from the start. I tried to join the yahoo group, but it looks like it is dead. There isn't much traffic here, either.

Anyway, I have read her book, but I would like to get my hands on the teaching guide. I can't really afford to buy it new right now. Can I get it used anywhere?

Thanks!

Hi Sarah,

The yahoo group is still around but no one is actively posting. However, if you post, you might get a reply from Jennifer the moderator who's a Vimala "expert".

Personally, I use the Vimala for myself completely -- and my kids are at various stages at incorporating it. I don't really do lessons so I'm not the best person to ask for ideas on incorporating. Depending on how you teach at home, you can take any handwriting curriculum and just instead teach the vimala letters.

The place to start obviously is on your own handwriting so that you can then teach your children. For the children, starting with their own name is a great place to start.

Let me know if you aren't able to request to join the yahoo group and I can add you.

I see that this is an old thread, but just popping in to say that we're about to start on our 42 days of handwriting with the Vimala Alphabet.
