Does anyone have a soymilk maker?

What brand do you have? Do you use it enough to make it worth buying? Do you like the soymilk it makes? Where do you get your soybeans for it?

We've been considering getting one for years (anytime we see on in a catalog or magazine it tempts us), but we're just not sure if it'd be worth it.

I'd just like some opinions.

TIA

My friend bought one, used it a few times and then e-bayed it. If you are the kind of person who would buy a bread maker and no use it (or a juicer), it may be the same with these machines. She did do research into a particular brand. If you want to know what she thought was the best, e-mail me with soymilk maker in the subject line and your questions in the text and I'll forward it onto her.

I had one and it was sooo easy to use!
BUT, I had been making it with the blender/stove method for years.
After that, any thing was an improvement!

The one I had, I would not suggest.
I bought it from Gaim (I think? Used to be Seventh Generation)
It worked fine, until I wore it out!
(I made milk daily)
Also, the place that held the beans was plastic and impossible to clean.

I have seen ads for an ALL stainless steel one.
Soy Joy? maybe?
If I could get another one, I would go for that one.

Where do I get beans?
My grandfather used to give me 50 lb bag of beans, he was friends of a soyfarmer.
When he died, mother in law took over giving us beans.
She works for the local ag center.
Her job runs out in September, so guess I will have to *GASP* actually buy my soybeans!
I will try and find a co-op somewhere near me to order them then.

Hope
