Airplane food
Okay ladies, I need some help. DH and I are going on a trip to Hawaii in Sept. We booked SUPER cheap flights and none of the 3 airplanes have meals and none of the layovers are longer than 60 minutes. So this means we will need snacks and meals to go already packed...any ideas on non-perishable non-nutbutter meals? We leave at 8 am and arrive in Hawaii at 6 pm(which is 1045 local eastern time) so, we will be travelling for 14 +hours without an official meal. I was thinking of fruit and maybe some whole wheat bagels with veggies. I think we will also pack some healthy cookies/granola bars. Think this will be enough? It is only DH and I so we can deal, but it is a vacation so I am wanting to be somewhat comfortable...ROFL. Thanks for any ideas!!
