This is a note from my husband's band. They are entered into a contest where they could win about $2000 in prizes, headline a festival and get some awesome recognition. They just signed up last night and are already at #2 so the prospects are pretty good. We could use all the help we can get

Please keep in mind the recording was done last week in a garage. Real studio time starts next month.

I registered, listened to them all, and have to say that Engraved is by far my favorite out of all of them. So I voted for it

Now, some of the others I thought were OK, and a few I just didn't like. Is your DH saying just vote thumbs up for their band, and don't vote at all for the others?

yeah that the gist of it. Some people have been voting thumbs up for the band they like and then giving all the other bands thumbs down and that's very not nice and goes against the spirit of what they are trying to accomplish. They've been working with musicstrands to get the thumbs down option removed but it looks like the best they can do is show the total only and not the actual number of positive, neutral, negative votes.

Thanks for voting guys! It's neck and neck now and Separated has been ahead or behind by one vote all day...lol, its suspenseful. The contest runs through June 15th so there's no telling how it will go at this point.
