Scholastic has CHEAP Lemony Snicket books!

You can get a 10 book paperback set for $21.95 - that's less than TWO of the books at the bookstore!! LMK if you want the catalog # and item #. I just wrote my order tonight. I'm SO excited!!

How do you order from Scholastic direct? My son really wants to read Lemony Snicket!

Sorry I was too lazy to go get my info when I posted this. Here it is. I ordered the catalogs by phone for our homeschool - I don't know if you have to really have a school or not - they are fine with sending hsers their catalogs. I have several of their catalogs but not the one the offer was in. THe lady I spoke with said I simply needed to tell them that it was ITEM # 63 from CATALOG #330600 - the Team Readers catalog. Several of the other catalogs have 6 for $14.95 and 7 for $14.95, but this is the biggest set. I believe it's #s 1-10. I think they only go up to 11 right now, so this is a good set!

ETA - I just rememeberd I had to do my first order by mail (not online or by phone) so you will prolly need to call for at least one of their catalogs so you have info and they have your address etc.. You can't write this set onto just any catalog order form BUT you can write it on a separate piece of paper and enclose it with your order. If you're just after these, I'd order the Team Readers Catalog. I think you can do that online. I had to call because I was trying to order so many diff club catalogs.

Thank you! I just ordered 4 different book club catalogs online, relatively easy. I did have to click buttons on 3 or so screens, but it was all accomplished within a minute or so.

Hmm, it has been almost 3 weeks since I ordered the catalogs. Is this typically a normal time frame to wait?

If you phone in for the catalogs, they seem to come a lot quicker!
