Have you seen anything new?

Forgotten was interesting but I hated the ending.

King Arthur was better than I expected it to be, but doesn't follow the story of King Arthur so dh was disappointed (it's what the maker thinks was the story of Arthur, if that makes sense)

Alien vs. Predator was entertaining.

Raising Helen was frustrating but cute.

Dodge Ball was dumber and the first Ben Stiller I've been disappointed with.

There's a few we've seen recently.

We just saw

In a New York Minute and I totally loved it...it's the one with the Olsen Twins... I don't normally like comedy's but I guess I was needing a laugh

Cheaper by the Dozen was funny too

Both however have some mild sex/language/ etc.. not sure most kids would notice but my 9 year old did lol...he is starting to notice "girls"

I like The Inn of the Sixth Sense Very good
about a missionary team in China during the war... this was back in the days of foot binding

I like Door to Door (true story about a sales man for Watkins with cerebral palsy)

EverAfter (my favorite) also Tuck Everlasting(ahhh)

We rent netflixs so see at least 2 movies a week because we don't have TV

For the family ITA with Cheaper By the Dozen! So funny and cute!

For adults (and older kids) I loved The Village, 50 First Dates, Raising Helen and 13 Going on 30

We also recently saw House of Sand and Fog and Anchorman: The Legand of Ron Burgundy - both of which I hated.

My kids were enthralled with Around the World in 80 Days. Of course, you have to get through a few historical inaccuracies I thought it was a decent, if not enjoyable movie.

I just got back from blockbuster with Collateral
and Napolean Dynamite...lol. Looks like I made some good choices.
Supersize Me is pretty good but I don't think the kids would enjoy it.
I've been waiting for them to have Without a Paddle in stock for a few days. That look hilarious.
Thanks for adding to my movie list...lol
much love

Big Fish (PG-13) was excellent. (we have netflix and have seen lots of movies lately, this one especially stood out.)

50 First Dates was fine too, I'll agree with that one. I'm a big Adam Sandler fan though.

I liked Elf. Not hilarious but kind of silly. I'm not a big Will Ferrel fan though.

Secondhand Lions (PG) was VERY good too. Don't rent it on the same day as Big Fish though.

The Terminal wasn't bad. If you like Tom Hanks (I do), it's better than Lady Killers.

Basic (R) is especially good too if you're looking for more of an action thriller type. (John Travolta's in this one.)

For adults:

We just watched "Garden State" and we loved it

I also loved "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind"

Tomorrow we're watching "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle", I can't wait, I need a comedy!

"Troy" was sooooooo yummy, er, I mean good

The Village ~ thought provoking, very interesting movie.

Fifty First Dates ~ very enjoyable, funny, sweet

Somethings Gotta Give ~ This is an older one but I just rented it this week. It is now my new favorite movie. I watched it twice in a row and I never do that. I watched it again the following night. It was *that* good.

Secondhand Lions ~ We have this now. It is a fantastic family movie. Heartwarming but funny too.

I-Robot ~ Great movie! Seeing Will Smith in the shower is an added bonus but one my husband doesn't appreciate nearly as much

Older ones that I love are Sweet Home Alabama, Two Weeks Notice, Signs ... uhm.. I know there are many more but these should keep you entertained very well for a while.
