Until I leave for Haiti on a 2 week medical mission trip. I'm so excited and a bit nervous as I've been watching the news to get the latest on the food riots in the country. Now, I need to figure out how I'm going to pack my stethoscope, scrubs, meds, and everything else they have on my one full page packing list, into a carry on bag. That's all I can take... Any ideas?? Dh says there is no way on Gods green earth I'm going to pull this off..

You are SO lucky!!! It is scary, but once you are there, God will shine upon you and all the blessings will overwhelm the bad. Carry on a big suitcase. Also take a big carry on "purse" and a backpack. They will let you do that. No liquids allowed in the carry-ons. You might need a note to take meds in??? Not sure. Please keep us posted. Haiti is where I want to adopt.

Thanks for the tips. Another team member also mentioned bringing a backpack in addition to the carry on. I have one last team meeting next weekend so hopefully we'll go over some of the packing stuff. The meds I'm taking are just personal meds, my malaria meds, and preventative meds, like for traveler's diarrhea, etc... The meds we are treating patients with, will be in the check in bags with all the medical supplies as well.
