Tell me about your tent

We are going to a music and arts festival in a couple weeks. We need to get a tent. I'd like a roomy one, w/ a room divider for the kids, and a door where I dont have to crouch down low to get in, but dh wants a light weight one b/c he says he'll be the one carrying it. Silly man. Anyway, just wondering if any of you mamas have a good tent that you and your family love that you could recommend. Thanks!

We have a big 3 room tent, similar to This One.

Ours is the same maker, different style. We love it. We can fit a queen size air mattress in it and still have one room available for other things (kids, clothing, etc). We can stand up in the center room, and almost stand in the side rooms.

If you have to carry stuff anywhere, carrying this tent is not so much different than carrying any other tent. They are big, ya know? If you're gonna have a tent big enough for kids and all, it's gonna be big, but they fold down into an easy carry bag, we pack this thing in all the time!

oh, and they sell this type of tent at Costco.

We have this one only a 6 person one. We love it. It is lightweight and it is rain proof! that is what matters to us.

I've been looking to buy a tent

I'm eyeing these two

The Wenzel 14- by 12, 86 inches center, looks bigger because of the shape... divides into 2 rooms

Wenger 17- by 15, 80 inches center, has more room ... divides into 3 rooms

Both have a 10 year warrenty.

I like both and can't decide LOL
