Traveling MamasWondering how to entertain your 2-yr-old on a long trip? Got questions about airfares or car routes? Want to know where the best tourist or camping spots are? Moving across the country? C'mon in!
We're trying to find tickets for dh's mom to fly up and see us, and the price has jumped quite a bit in the past week or two. Where is the best place online to find a good deal? We've checked priceline, expedia, cheap tickets, ummm ...a couple more I can't think of.
TIA.

I used Orbitz for my DH's trip to CA and got a good deal. ($307 round trip March 4-8th with decent departure/arrivals times and only one layover each way.)

I usually get mine from www.orbitz.com, but for our trip to the Keys in April I did better contacting the airlines directly. We ended up with tickets from www.flysong.com, a subsidiary of Delta, but www.americanairlines.com had better deals than orbitz & travelocity as well.

Yeah, I second checking the airlines themselves. The last few times I bought tickets, I actually found significantly cheaper tickets at the airlines themselves than on any online dealer. By significantly, I mean hundreds less for overseas tickets, and at least half off for domestic!
Hey Amber,
I always go through www.travelocity.com and have gotten great deals. I would check us airways b/c we've gotten tickets off their site for good deals too.
good luck
