Anyone With Frequent Flyer Experience?

I am so frustrated with myself right now. Why am I always procrastinating things?

We are not a family who does a lot of flying so this is my first time to deal with frequent flyer miles on Continental

DH traveled to China 4 times the end of last year and to S.Carolina from TX atleast 5 times the begining of this year. only a couple were credited to his one-pass account at the time of the flights. Well, he gave me a big stack of copies of all his flights a long time ago and I haven't done anything with them until today. I tried to log in the flight info but it turns out he can't get credit for the miles because its been over 6 months.

I'm almost crying here. We were going to go on a trip or something just the two of us with all these miles. This was what kept me going when he was out of town so much while I was pregnant with Elise.

Am I just out of luck with this or is there some way we can get the miles credited? His first trip was Aug of last year so its way over the 6 month time frame. We are talking LOTS of miles here.

Hey, I used to fly for CO! I don't recall that being a policy, but things change-constantly. You may try calling until you get a sympathetic employee. Sorry

Yes, I should try calling. You can only get credited online for the miles but since I'm having trouble maybe they will take the call.

I guess the good news is dh might be sent back in Dec for a 3 day trip. YIKES! 24hrs of traveling there, there a day, and come back. Not good for him, but good for the free miles

I'm just so sick of losing out on those trips. it takes 25,000 miles for a free round trip and each trip to China was worth about 20,000.

UGH!

There usually is i time limit to redeem them. My hubby flies on Southwest and he gives his frequent flier number when booking his flight so his miles are always credited.

Good luck - I hope it works out for you.... that's a lot of miles !!
