Question Is there any way to stop the 'Messenger Service' spam pop-up's (in email program???)

I think they come up in my email program (Outlook Express). Just a box that'll pop up with 'Messenger Service' at the top and some sort of spam in the message and an 'OK' box to click.

Anyone know what I'm talking about and if there's a way to stop them?

Thanks!!

Do you have Juno Internet? We just got Juno and started noticing them. We haven't figured out how to stop them...just offering shared frustration!! (As if spam mail weren't enough...)

The EXACT same thing happened to us when we installed WinXP and Outlook. DH uninstalled Windows Messenger and we stopped getting them. Do you know how to uninstall programs? LMK...

dh did a search and found this page. We got a new computer (with XP) the same time we signed up for Juno, so I thought that's what it was. I guess I was wrong.

Apparently, these pop-ups aren't related to Outlook or Windows Messenger (MSN).

Follow the steps on this site and it will eliminate those darn things.
