So... I am seriously considering going with our adoption director, Joy, to Ethiopia. The main reason for my trip is to see my own daughter to be... because we have yet another delay.

BUT... Joy has told me that she really needs someone to take pictures while in Adama (Chaltu's city). It would be of children in the orphanages, pictures for families to see. Many of them will be the first pictures families ever see of their child.
So, if I go (95% sure I will), what should I have with me? I have a macro 50mm 2.8 that I do love. I have a 50mm 1.8 on my Christmas wish list, which I could possibly get before I go if it would be better. I also have my kit lens, and a 18-200mm.
I will also be getting pictures of the countryside, the markets, etc. When I go back to pick up Chaltu, I probably won't be taking my good camera due to space. But this time, I could.
What should I take? Should I purchase a camera bag, or just keep the camera around my neck (while in country) and in my big purse (in the plane)?
