I hope that the week the kiddos are away I can get a few of mysaved SPs up and take another one or two. I am really missing this project (off to unpack the study before the ILs arrive tuesday night)

This is what a typical Sunday looks for our family. We fell into this wonderful habit of an inpromptu invitation, gathering whatever leftovers are around, a trip to the store to fill in the bare spots and we simply "do life" together in the afternoon. Never in my adult life have I had friends like this...with intimacy and accountability and calling me on my crap and laughing and crying and grieving and more laughing and more laughing. These people have become my heartbeat here. They've got my back and I have theirs. It's nothing fancy but its true and deep. Sunday afternoons are the time to just rest and gather together.
