i was shooting a fall session tonight and hung around after for my own pix.
this is a park near my house...maybe 10min away. i've shot it before...the covered bridge photos on my site are this park. the further you go into the park, you will come to a creek that runs down granite slabs, creating sliding rocks that are perfect for kids in the summer...or group shots in the spring/fall.
my group tonight wasn't going that close to the water (3 little boys) so i stayed by the bridge with them. once they were done, i decided to walk in a bit further and take some photos for myself. seems i rarely do that anymore.
the drought is so heavy here in georgia, we're lucky to have any color at all. it seems to be peaking now-ish.

and yes, she's got some serious groove in her hair
thank you, sandi. i think i'm skipping the fall leaf project. i think i'll have these 3 printed for that purpose (i'm going to repaint my downstairs half bath and decorate with my photos...)

thanks, mamas.
(wondering where julie is since she loves color and i rarely ever keep my images in color )
You were really able to capture the colors Tracey! I love the pics of the boys. Ari's just like Grady. Grady hates to have his photo taken. He's the reason we haven't had pro pics done in years. Much easier to take them myself Beautiful!!

I really enjoyed working with G's family. A was definitely not in the mood for photos...he was saying "M, we have an issue" and "no flash photography..."
It was funny. I really enjoyed working with them though. I hope she enjoys the photos of them...even the reluctant ones
