Kids and I went to the zoo a couple weeks ago. I'd been fiddling with manual setting and had just been in a darker room and not used flash. We went outside and I forgot to change the setting. TOTALLY over-exposed. Complete error, but I kinda like it.
I'm thinking of going back and working at this idea a little better. Still intentionally over exposed, but maybe not quite as much so that the black stripes are slightly stronger.

Very cool! I was staring at the pic thinking it would be even cooler if the strips were a tad bit darker, if all were like the middle one, and then read what you said lol Very neat almost like a negative but not really lol I make dumb mistakes all the time. One day on vacation I was trying to get pics of the kids at the pool, they were all coming out blurry, I was getting SO mad thinking one of them must have dropped it or stepped on it getting out the car and broke it. I put it away and thought I'm not going to yell now, I'll wait till we are back in the car, that way they will all feel so guilty and not talk, hey after 30 hours in the car I'm taking quiet any way I can get it! I pulled it out later when we were playing in the park to see if I can fix it in anyway, as soon as I had it in my hands I remembered I put it on manual focus the night before, I was trying to take pics of some street signs that where in Indian and English and the glare from the headlights wouldn't let the auto focus grab anything. I felt so dumb lol

i put it in adobe lightroom (similar stuff as photoshop but a little easier for me b/c i don't know how to do much on photoshop)...upped the black...lowered the saturation...lowered the exposrue a bit...cropped out the zebra laying down. then i put it in photoshop and added the border.
Location: But what it takes to cross the great divide seems more than all the courage I can muster up inside. But we get to have some answers when we reach the other side. The prize is always worth the rocky ride.
