... right on the lens, and broke my 50mm lens.

Thankfully it's not a pricey lens, right? I'll be replacing it as soon as I get home.

I was sooooo thankful that there was no damage to the camera. I was so nervous! I dropped it on a tile floor, too, so the potential for much more expensive damage was great.

Ack! Good thing it was only the lens.

I dropped my digital camera a couple years ago right on the telescoping lens (it was on at the time) and it was *busted*. I had to go buy a new one.

Fortunately, I hated the thing, so there was no love lost there.

Oh no! That's one of my worst fears!! At least it was an inexpensive lens and there's no damage to the body!

yea...my very first photo shoot i dropped my camera on her tile floor and busted my lens. i wanted to THROW UP right then and there...but i played it cool and shot everything with the 50 mm lens i had.

I ordered my new lens, it should be here this week sometime. Yay!
