I like the purple, but can't see it matching a whole lot.

I have the red with blue interior 5 million. I really like the color, but it is bright. There weren't a lot of choices when I got mine--I wanted something funky...

yea...the red is bright but i love it.

the oatmeal is nice and neutral but they have recently changed the interior color. mine is a nice olive color. the new interior is a muted kelly green. and i personally think that the new green is ugly.

i think i'm going to get a sling/backpack to use. i find that on shoots where we're traveling a lot around a location it would be nice to just put it on my back....

tracey do you carry both bodies on a shoot? i usually do...but i am thinking i may start leaving my d50 in the van..nearby in case of catastrophe.

yes, i take both bodies on a shoot. never know what could happen, yk? i know the d50 isn't the d300 but in a pinch, it works great. i know how to make it work for me so it is a great backup.

i do not leave any camera equipment in the van in georgia this time of year. the heat could be awful on the sensors...

my current bag is a lowepro nova 5 AW. i think you saw it at lunch that time...it's hefty.

Not for all the gear you two use, but for wee amateur hobbyists, I like the tamrac adventure 6 backpack. It holds my d40, 18-55mm lens, 55-200mm lens/hood and a speedlight if it is packed "just so". This is all in the lower padded compartment, leaving the top free for keys, wallet, phone and a pullup for the little one.

I have a crumpler 5million dollar bag. It isn't quite big enough (body, 2+ lens) but when I get a new bag it will be a larger crumpler.

I am really bad and usually stick the camera in my diaper bag when we are running. Otherwise I have to carry several bags.

I also love my Crumpler. I have the 7 and plan to get a smaller one for when I want to carry just the camera and one lens.

wow, I have a different answer for once. LOL I have the small Jill-E bag and I absolutely ADORE it. Don't let the small part of the title fool you because it is huge! love it so much and i like that it doesn't look like a typical camera bag.

I didn't like anything I could afford (much rather spend my money on new camera equipment than a bag!) so I made my own, with most of the features I liked from other ones.

Ha, that might be a good thing, so it doesn't scream "Hey, hey look at me, camera bag filled with expensive stuff, take me, take me..."
