got my d50 today :)

i'm so freaking excited i can't stand it. i got it with the nikkor 18-55mm and the nikkor 55-200mm lenses, a tamrac velocity 7 sling pack case (not decided if i'll keep that or not...) and a couple other little things. need to order a circular polarizer on ebay (not paying wolf prices for that...) and get to playing!

i've got photoshop cs2 on the way and bought the book "the photoshop cs2 book" by scott kelby, mostly based on rec's here about kelby. hope to have cs2 by the weekend

julie, where did you get your case? i was at discover mills today (a long time today...sigh) and looked at the places i'd think would have crumpler bags (since REI carries them i thought bass pro or surf and ski might...but nope.) that place is huge. i'm tired of walking. like...really tired.

i want to scope out more cases. this is the one i liked best based on what they had at wolf but i'm not 100% sold. http://www.tamrac.com/5747.htm any ideas locally on where to look? i may go to REI later this week. just not sure, maybe check out the big wolf camera downtown? i'm not sure i want a crumpler either, i'm just not sure what i want really.

is that lens you are selling macro?

dh got the case from the crumpler website...

the lens is Zoom Telephoto AF Zoom Nikkor 70-300mm f/4-5.6G Autofocus Lens - Black ...so you probably have that pretty much covered.

hrm. see, i'm picky. i keep seeing bags online that look nice (crumpler, lowepro, others) but i just can't get a camera bag sight unseen.

i'll go look some more this weekend. i'm not really excited over the bag i have. got cs2 today but haven't had time to play with it yet.

i know what you mean...i am picky too....but i really like my crumpler bag. i have a small one just for taking my camera and charger....doesn't really fit much but i will probably eventually get a big ol' crumpler bag. mine is the brown outer with the green inner..so cute.
