We just got ours, so I'm not selling it but it's a GREAT, AWESOME camera for the price.

It's $304.99 with free shipping plus there's a link for $15 off a $200 purchase. You can't beat that price for a 7.1 megapixel camera. I love that it's small. I carry it in my purse.

Mine died last night. Between my friend and I we have had 3 Canon's go kaput in the past year. I highly suggest you stay away from the canons.

My camera is about to die, too. I've had mine for 6 years though, so I'm not too upset. It's a Sony Mavica FD75 (the kind that you put a floppy disk into). I'd love to get another Sony especially the CD kind but not sure I can afford it for a while. The one I have right now doesn't take very high pixel pictures so when you get them printed they are kinda fuzzy. I want to get one that is good enough for print quality.

Those of you w/Canons, have you mailed them into Canon to be repaired? My brother has had to mail his camera in twice (he's really rough on cameras) to have them fix it, had it back to him in 10 days and didn't charged him either time and once was because it was full of sand. Heck, stupid Kodak wanted me to send them $130 just to look at my camera, what a crock, no more Kodaks for me. I have a Canon digital rebel and absolutely love it, it makes every other camera I had look like a piece of crap. One of the reasons I went w/a Canon was their customer service.

I haven't tried because it is out of warranty now and I am told by others that it would cost close to $200 to get it repaired by them, or that I could get a refurbished one for $100. Shoot, I could get a new one for a little bit more. Was your brother's still in warranty?

I love my nikon coolpix. It hs been dropped, flipped off the stroller, kids pushed the zoom in, so the spring was fixed by DH, the back card slot is in 2 pieces, and it just keeps on going....LOL I kept saying that when it dies completely, I'd upgrade, but it just keeps on goingROTFL I'm going to get a new one when they run a sale on them again...

I am wanting to get the Nikon Coolpix 7600 or 7900 to replace my canon. My hubby is a nikon lover and was skeptical over my canon. Now I am getting a "told you so". UGH

LOL Mama...I really do love mine and it's 5 years old now! Thats the one I'm eyeing too. CompUSA had the 5900 on sale for $249 and a $30 store card about 3 weeks ago and I should have gotten it there and picked up another card to go with it, but now I'm kicking myself b/c they are back up to $299. Still not bad for a 5.1mp, but if I can get $50 off, I'll wait. Should be going on sale again somewhere in the next couple weeks, I'm hoping!

I'm pretty sure it wasn't either time but I'll check w/him later today. I know he fully expected to hear from them w/how much it would cost to fix it and the next thing he knew he got an email w/the fed ex tracking #.
