I'd like to dissolve or fade the edges of pics I post at auctions to soften the look. I have Adobe but don't know how to do this. I figured out how to bevel and emboss picture edges, but not fade/diffuse. Any help would be appreciated!

An easy way to go about it is to use your square selection tool and set your feather to however many pixels you want. Try 10 pixels and see what how that works. Then select the picture and paste it onto another canvas and you'll be able to see your soft edges. Soemtimes you have to do this a few times to get the edges as diffused as you want them without changing the size of yoru picture.
