adobe photoshop

does anyone use this?
we're thinking of getting it to use with editing images for DH's web page (and my family page should I ever step away from the sewing machine)
Is it user friendly? We have used Paint Shop Pro and wanted to scream anytime we used it. It was sooooo difficult to decipher.

Thanks!

Yes! I love it, I was fed up with PSP also. Much easier to use and more features. I don't think you'll regret purchasing it.

Marion ~ I haven't, but I have heard it is more for professional type of stuff. I LOVE Paint Shop Pro! I'd be glad to help you out with anything if you end up sticking with that. Just e-mail me.

Your family picture is awesome!!! Christian has the same shirt as Nigel, I think? It is kind of blue plaid with lizards? (probably putting my foot in my mouth if you made it! LOL Looks just like one we got at Kohl's, though.)

Marion ~ If *I* can use it - anyone can use it!

DH showed me in 2-3 minutes time how to use it and now I can do all my own photos for the web or for email and they come out the size I want them to. I've used at least two others (maybe 3) and I could never get them to do what I wanted! ugh.

I love this one!

I have photoshop 4.0 and 7.0. 4.0 is more user friendly 7.0 is more in depth and more technical.

You can download it free for a trial period at their site. At least you can with the Photoshop Essentials, which has all of the photo editing tools I'd ever need.

As far as I can tell, the trial version has everything the regular version would have.

Personally, I like Photoshop MUCH better than Paint Shop Pro.
