Are Ottobre diapers pleasing?

I was given a set of white cloth diapers. They work brilliantly. I am trying to make some more, so that when I pass them on, there's a bigger collection. Two of them have been ripped up, from age, so far. Biddle is the third child to use these.

One type has pointy corners- the maker serged off each side, and then used a regular sewing machine to staystitch across the corners. The others are shaped like bicycle seats.

I made a few Honey Boy diapes, but they were annoying to make- odd constuction techniques.

Ottobre has rounded corners, and velcro, and elastic, and printed fabric parts.

Do they work? Do you really need a cover?

Right now I lay a regular cloth diaper in a boys toddler underwear ( little likes her brother's underwear) so I don't need elastic, but maybe the next person might. And I might like the chance to make a diaper to match her dresses.

what's your experience?

I would, if I could. Something about browser/computer incompatibility. The internet service doesn't even have a manual to fix or patch anything, since the computer is over ten years old.

There are several forums I'd love to visit. The open computers are at the library, and that's impossible with three, and across town, again, impossible with three in tow.

I can't see several sites, I can't run videos, I can't download music, or sound. If I open more than one window, the whole thing grinds to a halt.

So I trust everyone else's good humor in this forum, since I'm here, no matter what. It's become sort of like my parlor. I know other people are in other rooms, but this is my here.

I was hoping someone here could tell me if Ottobre diapers are pleasing to wear.

I made a couple with the pattern and altered it slightly. They work out pretty well and you can make them AIO with a PLU on the outside. They did come out a bit on the large side for me.I don't have a serger.all in all I was pleased with the result.

I made one in the smallest size, and it is finally starting to fit my baby, at 7 months old and 18lbs. So they definitely have some sizing issues. The pattern itself is fine, though.

Sewzanne's has the downloadable diaper pattern. They also have a soaker pattern designed in Icelandic Unspun wool.

Schoolhousepress.com has Icelandic Unspun Wool dyed in luscious colors. Schoolhouse press is Meg Swansen's website. Her mother, Elizabeth Zimmerman is , well, Elizabeth Zimmerman, of knitting without tears fame.

It also has genuine guernsey, for gen'ine guernsey sweaters, and Jamieson and Smith yarn, which is what is used in all the impossibly fine gauge, vividly hued, marvelous sweaters shown in British design books, including Debbie Bliss designs.
