Great information to get out to people. Many a night at the pub with our farmer buddies lamenting why on earth anyone would feed cattle corn. In order to be demeter certified the standards are even higher than organic and mandate that not only are they grass fed but that the farm itself must grow the feed (hay, silage, etc.) that they are fed in the winter months when they can't graze. A true BD farm is 100% self sustainable.
