Question Please help me with my Aunt Flo....

Ugh, I am having my first cycle since having my baby, and I am in a whole lot of pain. What can I do? I've tried chillin in a hot bath, but I've got 4 little kids, I can't exactly just sit there while they burn the house down. YKWIM? Is there a *Natural* remedy for cramps and fatigue? I have never really experienced this kind of feeling, or pain before. After I had #4 I had a tubal Ugh, I hate that I did that, but we just can't afford any more kids. If money were no object we probably would have had more. Any how what can I do?

Sorry you're feeling so crummy. There are many homeopathic remedies you can try, one being Cimicifuga, but with homeopathics your particular symptom picture would dictate which remedy suits you best. Try a practicioner or perhaps some 'net research to narrow it down. Also, 100mg daily of additional B1 (thiamine) can help, as can B6 (though no more than 100mg daily total of that). A calc/mag supplement is important! Crampbark, dong quai and blue cohosh are some other popular herbal remedies. Otherwise, heat, light exercise, and yoga (like child's pose, or any relaxation pose) can help, too.
