Sharing... my blogs and more pictures

So here is my blog at the moment. It shows much of what I have been up to for the last two weeks. Canning peaches, applesauce, pickles, and just general ramblings.

I thought perhaps some of you would like to see the canning etc. I am starting to get tired of it now, but it feels good to be doing it anyway... I have one more box of peaches and then I am back to applesauce. After that I am going to get black berries and then zucchini (but I just freeze and/or grate those for the most part), and then I will be done for a while. YAY!

And here are some more pictures of the garden this week:

The newest Daliah Beauty

Evening hanging cuke

black currents... Almost ripe!

Cherry Roma Tomatos... these are SO good but I dont' know what to do with them. lol!

Peppers... PERFECT for chili!

Anyhow... enjoy! And thanks for looking!

Oh Yeah baby!! Wonderful! I love your garden!

I honestly don't know how you do it, pregnant lady! I have canned before, but I've never done a canning marathon like that. Whew! But the results are well worth the effort!!

I must admit that I am getting really tired. lol... People always ask me why I don't gain weight with my pregnancies... I tell them I move a lot. LOL!

One more box of peaches to go today and then I am back to freezing blackberries and drying currents, and more applesauce (which comes in smaller batches). But for the most part, after next week, the season will slow down and the kids will be in school and everything will get easier.

This morning I am taking off to go return some things and do a bit of thrift shopping. Must start stocking up on boy baby clothes. Then back to work this afternoon, then dinner out with my brother, and picking Alex up at the airport at 9pm! Long day, esp since I woke up at 4am... but I can't wait to see my boy!

Val

Edit because I spelled Stocking like Stalking... so for a while there I was sneeking up on clothing items. LOL! Boy I am tired!

Beauties! I am about to start my very first greenhouse. We bought a 10 X 12 kit and I'll be focusing on blueberries, Oregon natives, carnivorous plants and cut flowers for winter.
