Talking Amity cult?

Someone said "Amity cult"- that's so funny. But seriously, what would the elements be?

I can guess:

cloth diapers
herbal remedies
kitchen aid stand mixer, or saving for one.
getting out of debt, or remaining frugal
veggies for breakfast, lunch and dinner

what else?

any saints needing candles? one site I know has erma bombeck as a saint.
I'd say martha stewart, but I don't know. I'm just a starter here, all things considered.

Sears and Sears.
Who was the LLL founder?
Jeanine Parvarti Baker
Tightwad Gazettte Amy something?

FTR, I have no desire for a kitchen aid mixer.
But cloth diapering seems to be what holds it together - it started it all, after all.
