sprinkle it on popcorn, we use it in pesto, sprinkle on cooked veggies, pasta salads etc.

I've used it in a cracker recipe and it's real yummy!

5 lbs?? Wow!

Popcorn
salad dressing
in biscuits
in a flour breading for tofu to make it taste more like chicken
over rice and veggies
in gravy
over oven-baked french fries
tofu soaked in soy sauce, then rolled in yeast and broiled
off a spoon (okay, maybe that's just me lol)
mix a spoon in oj (yum!)
on toast and butter (double yum)
in savory pastry
In veggie casserole
etc etc etc

Basically, whatever you want to do with it..

Whhaaaatt???? Yeast in OJ is DELICIOUS!! I used to give myself allergic reactions all the time when I was a kid by mixing up to 8 spoonfuls of yeast at a time in, lol!! My whole family does that, and so do a lot of my friends...it never occurred to me that anybody could possibly think it was gross!

(Oh, and re my allergies, I am allergic to niacin, which is a b vitamin, and yeast has a TON of b vitamins in it, so I have to limit my dose. Eight tablespoons at one time is a bit much...ahem. I also can't overdo bee pollen or B vit supplements)

just be aware that when you cook with it, it does lose some of the nutritional value. i sprinkle it on after foods are cooked......

Steam some broccoli, green beans, zucchini, carrots, yellow peppers, and then melt butter and pour on top of the veggies and add nutritional yeast and a pinch of garlic.
It is so YUM!

Come to think of it, I can see putting nutritional yeast on a dish that has OK in it, like Brussel Sprouts or tofu with an orange sauce...you may broaden my horizens

But I want my OJ straight-

Bummer on the Niacin...
