Yummmm, its as rich and satisfying as red wine.
The cheapest I've seen it was for $5 a quart for Knudsen brand at Whole Foods, and that was on sale I think.
I wonder if there's anywhere you could get pomegranites and make your own? I don't suppose you live near an international grocery in the country, lol.

*lol*...yup no international grocery shops here in redneck-central! (I do love Wyoming but love to poke fun too)
I think that store (Whole Foods) was one we saw on our way back from visiting Children's Hospital and Swedish Hospital in Denver last time. We took a different route home and it took us through a small city that I really want to live in someday! It had a university...it was in Colorado and it was sooo crunchy! We were looking for a place to eat lunch where I could eat and not feel sick afterwards and we saw this giant supermarket type of store that also had a place to sit and eat and the food and everything was sooo neat! First time I've ever seen a store like that and it was sooo cool! Anyway, I think it may have been a Whole Foods store.
I told dh we need to take that route home again next summer when we go back to the hospitals. (we go again in December but I guess that route is too dangerous to drive in the winter...according to dh)
Anyway.....what a lengthy response of mine.
