Oh I am so excited! I have been thinking seriously about EC for about a week and trying to read DD's signs and I haven't been militant but I have tried peeing her alot. Well, I still haven't caught a pee but I got a poo !!! And if I had paid better attention I would have caught that pee a few minutes afterwards. I just have to read the books now, my princess can't stand having wet pants and I just know I can do this! Question though.... how do you EC out of the house? Public restroom?

Isn't it soooo cool! The trick is keeping them dressed in stuff that is easy to get off-IMO. Congrats!

Isn't it AMAZING! How wonderful for you and your little one!
We started ecing Sylvie at about three weeks, read Diaper Free by Ingrid... can't remember her name. Anyway, are you cuing the baby? It really helps if baby is not in a dipe or coverless so you can tell as she is going and say pssss! or something similar. It gets easier the more you do it.
Also, I have found the ec list on MDC to be very helpful. Congratulations on your accomplishment!
FWIW- the sink is VERY easy and we used a ceramic bowl for the first few weeks. She did prefer the potty once she had head control and was heavier. I think it was kind of hard on her insides once she weighed so much to be dangling by her knees
I caught a pee! We have been dipe free all day today. I missed a pee but she was sitting naked on a prefold and we got it cleaned up ok. Does it count as a caught poo if you are running to the potty and catch it in your hand? Ok, I did have a prefold in that hand so it isn't as nasty as it sounds.
