Proper hygiene is critical to achieving and maintaining optimal health ... it is, in fact, as fundamental to improving your immune system as diet and exercise. For many years, I have used and had my patients use an exceptional hygiene kit that achieves what other products simply cannot -- the ultimate in hygiene for every critical area of the body, meaning an improved immune system and radiant skin in addition to "cleanliness." That product is the Clenzology Advanced Hygiene System, and I am finally able to offer it to you here!
We now know that germs aren't spread to us through coughing or sneezing as relatively few germs become airborne, and fewer still actually bother us. In fact, they're handed to us during routine and intimate physical contact.
Germs that accumulate on our hands enter the body through the nasal passageway or the corner of the eyes (tear ducts) as we touch these areas. This is an inevitable part of human nature. People touch their eyes and nose at least twenty times each day, even in their sleep.
Like the heart, liver or brain, the skin is the largest organ in the body, and one of the most complex. It is a vital and fundamental part of the immune system itself. In society today, where people live crowded in urban areas, the environment is filled with chemicals, toxins, pollutants, and mass transportation can carry new diseases around the world in a day, its no wonder our immune system is overloaded.
Clenzology hand and body soap removes the overload from the immune system and allows the body’s immune system to more effectively defend and protect itself against invasion from disease
The Clenzology™ Advanced Hygiene System goes beyond basic hygiene, and is designed to vastly improve your current regimen with the ultimate goal of helping you achieve greater, more vibrant health and well-being. The simple 5-step Clenzology process takes just minutes a day to perform and focuses on cleaning the areas of your body that most dramatically affect the overall quality of your health -- your hands, face, ears, mouth, and nose. When used regularly, the significant results of using Clenzology include:
* Optimal immune system function
* Vibrant, clear skin
* Healthy teeth and gums
* Better overall health, essential for enhanced longevity
I have. I hated the essential oils so I stopped using them. I think I still may have them if you want them. The soap was cool but kind of a pitb (I'm lazy) so when I ran out I never bought more. The toothpaste and ear stuff rock. I never tried the face/nasal washes because I'm too chicken. I'll see if I can find those, too, although I think I ebayed them. Overall a good set of stuff but I only used the tooth drops and ear drops regularly. I totally believe it works, though.
I always thought in general (not crazy psycho bacteria/germs that eat ur skin and what not)that exposing ourselves to germs makes our immune systems stronger?
Maybe not.
But I admit im not a germ freak lol and I rarely get sick.
Maybe Im just lucky.
but Ive heard that antibacterial soap (not saying this stuff is like that) is actually bad because it just makes the germs stronger so the soap will then become inaffective.

Is this the product that Jordan Ruben promotes? In his book the Makers Diet?
If it is I find it contradictory to the whole point of his book. Specifically the chapter that says we are to clean and then at the end of the book he promotes this product.
I don't get it???

This (above) is what I had been told also. And it makes sense. We did get rid of the antibacterial soaps about a year ago and I have to say that we have been (knock on wood) healthier this winter than we have been in many years...and that is with five of us with suppressed immune systems. I also just a month ago started making my own cleaning products that don't have all the supposed germ killing ingredients...so we'll see next winter how things go around here.
But this could be coincidence.....or due to the supplements (blk elderberry) that we have all been taking this winter.
Or maybe there is truth to the theory. (above)
I have never heard about the method in the OP, but I am one who does not hear/know about alternative options unless I learn them online.
Gosh Branwyn, this could get pretty deep, so I will just throw out my scattered thoughts on this.
No, I haven't used Mercola's regime, but I did take a "New York minute" glance at it when I first heard about it. My first thoughts were the same as others, that we need to build our immune systems through exposure. Just this morning there was a news segment about children having chronic kidney problems now, due to exposure to e-coli at a petting zoo. I know this seems to be a contradiction, so I hope that I can explain it effectively.
Babies are born near their own mother's perineums, which would have offered them a reduced risk exposure at birth, so long as the perineum isn't disinfected with iodine or other anti-bacterial wash. If babies aren't allowed this time to develop their immune systems to withstand e-coli, then they can become very sick, such as what happened with the children mentioned above.
Another thought to consider is, that in a gregarian society, where our food sources would come from homestead farms and not industrial pole buildings, children had the opportunity to be exposed to limited amounts of e-coli and other pathogens, which all served to strengthen the immune system. It is when humans live in sterile environments that the extreme symptoms of disease become a problem, because the body has no defense against these things.
So, back to your question about this kit from Mercola. I could maybe see a purpose in using it during a time of weakness, such as during a flu, cold, or other immune compromising time. Outside of such, I wouldn't use it. I am quite comfortable doing what we already do when anyone in our family is ill, we automatically up the vit c, echinacea IF necessary, use peroxide in the ears, and use regular bar soap and water to wash our hands frequently. I use other herbs and/or homeopathics rarely, unless there are strong indications to do otherwise, which has helped my family to be healthier overall.
For those with compromises in their immune systems, I do believe that a variation of this kit could be advantageously used.

P.S. I also hold to the philosophy that birth/life/education/death shouldn't cost one an arm and a leg. I see Mercola's items as awefully pricey, as I do others who are in the alternative healthcare field.

whoa mamas, i never said that i didn't agree about the immune system thing (when i worked in daycare i was the only one who didn't use antibacterial soap religiously and i was alos the only teacher that was never ill).
as a person heavily involved in alternative healthcare (being a classical homeopath) i see lot of products that we get thrown into our offices simply because they say "natural" on them. i originally posted because a client had asked about this product, and never having heard of it, i wanted to see who had used it and if you had seen any differences.
thank you all for sharing your thoughts!
Sorry Branwyn! You really didn't indicate why or what you were looking for, so I suppose that we all assumed that you wanted to know about our positions on hygiene and the affects of using items to sterilize our bodies. I sure didn't mean to cause any harm.
