Vax questions

Well, long time no post for me, but here goes...

DD was fully vaxed up to 6 months of age. (She is 3 now.) I didn't do any research beforehand and just took the doc's word. We knew she was very allergy prone and she developed a severe allergy to dairy after her 4 month shots. I didn't do any vaxes after her 6 month ones, but I'm really kicking myself about it. She outgrew that allergy, but still had some other allergies. Then I was a dummy and she had the MMR in December. Some of her allergy problems have gotten worse.

Does anyone here know of anything that can help? Homeopathic remedies? She gets a lot of rashes and exhibits extreme 3 yo behavior, LOL.

Thanks

http://www.tinussmits.nl/english/dyn...inum/intro.htm

The above addy is for Dr. Tinus Smits, who specializes in homeopathics for vaccine traumas. I would also suggest finding a Classical Homeopath for constitutional care, because the site above will only give you testimonies of others who have experienced the poor results of vaccine use, and the treatments that were used for their specific case.

The above link will get you to his site, but you will need to click on the link to the left of the window that says, "Post Vaccination Syndrome".

what she said. with vaccine damage you have to have a specific remedy chosen from your childs specific symptoms and you would need a homeopath trained in repertorization (a classical homeopath) generalities do not work well in the area of chronic conditions.
warning: homeopaths are not cheap and are very rarely covered by insurance. but if you have a good one, they are worth their weight in gold.

http://homepage.ntlworld.com/homeopathy_advice/Theory/FAQ'S/consultation.html

this is a good way to find a local classical homeopath, BUT take in mind the fact that we (classical homeopaths) have to pay to get on this list (or any other list in the US) so you might also find a classical homeopath near you by asking at a local health food co-op:
http://www.homeopathic.org/find.htm

also from a naturopathic standpoint, most of the issues with vaxes come with the heavy metals that are in them, chelation therapy can help
cilantro is a great natural chelator. mmmmm salsa
http://www.mnwelldir.org/docs/detox/cilantro.htm
http://www.newconnexion.net/article/05-04/cilantro.html
http://www.naturodoc.com/library/tre...avy_metals.htm

or you could try a cellular detox found at any HFS or a reputable homeopath can make a detox and drainage remedy from your own spit (i know sounds weird) but i have seen it work (ive used it myself) and it is most often used in east indian homeopathy as well as french homeopathy.

hth!

Thanks for all the links/info. I googled for a homeopath in OK, there weren't any on the for pay list. Unfortunately DH isn't very keen on spending a couple of hundred bucks on "something that probably won't work anyway." <sigh>

I think for now I may try the detox and I will focus on immune system support so hopefully we can move her more towards balance. I'm also planning on making some yummy cilantro pesto, but I don't know if I can get her to eat enough to really make a difference. I wish I could make some salsa, but tomatoes are one of the things that she has a reaction to.

I occassionally take Chlorella, which is touted as being good for cleaning out metals, and have noticed a significant difference in my energy levels. I buy the tablets, but I'm sure that it comes in powder form, so that you could mix it in her food. NEEDS.com is where I get mine from, the NOW brand.

Hmm, I'll have to add it to my list of things to look for. I guess if they don't have it at my local store I can always order the powder through Frontier. Thanks.
