How enviro- friendly are they really? Our shower/tub gets mildew fast and they have a shower spray that I have been using. I love it. It smells so clean and fresh but isn't over powering plus it really has been working for us. My mom gave me the kitchen all pupose cleaner to try and I like that as well. We don't do allot of scented products because of the kids and pets also I just don't like how over-powering they are or the fact that they 'hang' out for ever. These have that for me a perfect amount of scent that stays just long enough to appreciate it kyim I would like to try the laundry detergent. Beside laundry detergent the only store bought cleaner I use is carpet cleaning stuff but I really like the shower spray and would like to use it guilt free lol I was just wondering how natural they really are and if anyone has heard anything negative about them? I don't really know anything about them environmentally, but ew, I bought the laundry soap, and man that stuff reeked! I used even less of it than said on the bottle, but I had to toss it after using it three times, it was so strongly scented.

I don't like strong laundry detergent but dh does. If I used it maybe he would stop with the dryer sheets which I hate lol Those really bother me. He only uses them with his clothes but there is always an item or two of someone elses in there and it spreads to other clothes it the basket.

I love the shower spray! We use 1/4 a cap of laundry det when we use method and it works fine and the scent isn't so strong. They have unscented laundry det, too.

the laundry detergent comes in unscented as well. I just got the dishwasher tablets and like them too.

This is Joseph at 1 month old. He is next to his newest friend, Mary Frances, just minutes after she was born. She weighed 8 pounds 10 ounces and was 18.5 inches long!
How does it do in hard water? I mean, super hard water. I haven't used a "real" cleaner in ages, and I'm seriously ready to go buy some scrubbing bubbles or something to get the freakin' soap scum out of my tub. The only thing stopping me is the migraine I can expect after I use it. My tub is just EWWW....and it's a pretty new tub. Elbow grease/vinegar/baking soda/water are NOT getting my tub clean.
I picked up some biokleen soy bathroom cleaner. I'm going to give it a try tonight, but if that doesn't work then I'm going to need to find something because I'm tired of NOT wanting to bathe in my nice new tub because it's so grungy.

hey delpha, I found that epsom salts made into a paste, then used as an "exfoliant" for the tub, with one of those plastic mesh scrubbies worked well on my hard water stains in our old place. I'd apply the paste and let it set for a bit (15 minutes or so) then have a bowl of hot water to dip the scrubbies in and go at it.

Ok, I scrubbed the heck out of my tub today. It wouldn't be so bad, but it's one of those HUGE water sucking whirlpools, and it takes forever to scrub. I used my biokleen bathroom cleaner, and that didn't even touch it. I pulled out the Bac-Out full strength, and although the fumes about killed me, I did seem to be able to get a lot more of it taken care of. I wore out before I finished, but it doesn't look nearly as scudsy as it did before. I'm no longer afraid to bathe in it. lol I would have tried the epsom salt, but we used the last of ours last time we were detoxing.
Thanks for the input. Just recently dh has stopped asking to buy cleaners so I was hesitant to let any bought bottle of stuff in the house lol Plus just cause it says natural on the bottle doesn’t mean it is, as we all know. I don’t think we have hard water so I don’t know how it would work in that. We do get mildew so fast though and it has made that disappear. My dh leaves so much soap scum in the tub I don’t understand how he does it. Our tub keeps about an inch of water on the bottom while you shower so if he forgets to give it a quick rinse (which is often) after he’s done it gets skuzzy fast! It hasn’t made a huge dent in that but a little. I can live with having to wash that out once a week because it takes two minutes but I hate the mildew. I have to scub the walls once a week otherwise by the next week it looks like I haven't cleaned it in a month. It looks so bad. I didn’t know they had a wood cleaner I will have to try that. We have lemon pledge we use on our good dinning room table but I do that and use so little and only once a month so a can lasts us a year. The only reason I haven’t looked into anything else for that is silly but when I was little that was my job at my grandma’s when I would help her clean so I love the smell and makes me feel like a kid again lol
i have been curious too. i tried the shower spray and thought it smelled a lot like tilex. i found it overpowering and suspected it had chemicals. they don't list the ingredients so it makes me wonder. i am hoping that i am wrong and that they are as natural as they claim to be.
