I am so super pumped!
I batiked this weekend (my weekend Wed and Thurs). Tons of cool recycled clothes with batiked turtles, dragonflies, butterflies, the world, om, fire, clouds, crabs, leaves, pumpkins, etc. All done in batik with crackle dye over them. They look SO killer!!! I am so super pumped. I have been practically high all day long. I am going to make some more to sell for Christmas... but so far I have a couple that are ready to boil and get the wax off, and then they will be ready for sale. I LOVE doing it... I am getting better all the time, and the pants that I designed with the batik on them are just so adorable I was beside myself! (I am making pants again too...) I am just thrilled!
My dd wore her Om shirt with the dragonfly on the front yesterday... I dyed it brown after I batiked it. So the front has a yellow and purple dragon fly on it, the back has a large orange Om and the body is a light chocolate brown. SUPER CUTE! Alex's has a big green crab on the front, and a PEACE on the back. Then the body is the chocolate brown. OMG!
I am so excited! When I am done with the batch I will take pictures. My hands are three shades of dye... orange, teal and brown.. lol...
