Oh, oh, oh! I may have just found a key to helping me go dairy free!!!

I just borrowed a cookbook my MIL picked up at a garage sale a few years ago. I read a whole bunch of it when she first bought it, but it really didn't apply to me at the time. In the past few weeks, I have made the decision to go veggie, with plans for vegan or at least no dairy. This morning, I made Cashew Nut milk, which according to the recipie, can be used the same as whole milk--meaning I can make all kinds of things, including yogurt, for me and my kids! It is YUMMY!!! Way better than almond milk, way, way better than rice milk, and way, way, way better than soy milk since I don't want to use soy anyway! I'm soooo excited!

Oh, yeah, the cookbook is The Good Cook...Ten Talents. It is quite old (I'm thinking 60's. 70's at the latest? I can't find a publication date in the thing), so there are particular things that
I would avoid, like giving my baby raw honey, etc. But, there are extremely useful recipies, especially since this is before the day of processed health foods. It is a Seventh Day Adventist cookbook, and definitely preaches, but it doesn't really matter, KWIM???
