Supplements to aid joint pain

I am turning into a creaky mama. I have ongoing pain in my left ankle and right knee, which is probably a combo of overuse from running and playing soccer and age. I was talking with someone the other day that recommended a supplement that started with a G, but the name escapes me. Does anyone know what this might be?

Thanks in advance!

I have also read a lot that a glucosamine and chondroitin combo is very helpful. They carry them all over now. Places like Costco, Trader Joes, etc. in addition to the HF stores.

Ahm that is the one he was talking about. Thank you. I will get some at TRader Joes on my next visit. I have been using arnica cream on my knee for the last couple days too and it is starting to help.
