So, Mamas, it's time for another "What won't you do without" thread...

What things do you positively have to have in your pantry, etc.? What can you scrimp on?
Help me cut my budget--I keep thinking I've done it all, but I need to think on it some more!!!

Meat and milk are the two things that we got rid of first... those alone really improved our budget. You don't really need them... it is pretty easy to eat meat once every two weeks with some creativity (and with a dh (who is the one who cares) not at home at all).

The other things we took out were all convience items.... and we doubled up on spices for a while and went to "bump and scratch" stores to see what they had first. Those are all good money savers for me.

I won't do without nut butter, bread, oatmeal, eggs, fruit, broccoli, and tomatoes (canned or fresh).
