Last year I got a bed (with a lovely bookcase headboard) for my dd, and a 10'x12' white wool berber area rug in great condition and I gave dd's crib to a family from ours!

I'm the Head Honcho of my local freecycle group
I love it!
I've even been using the group to thin the mint from my garden

The membership is on the up right now because there have been so many articles about it recently...People mag,USA Today,NY Times...and I think this week, NPR.
